WE’RE GOING ON A NIGHT-TIME BUG HUNT! (Green Gang)

Go on a bug hunt before it gets dark, have your picnic tea and then venture into the darkness to see what other creatures come out at night. Weather permitting we might play a few bug-related games as well!  Then return to see what the moth traps have bought in. Please bring a picnic tea, something to sit on, suitable warm clothing and a torch for each person. You don’t have to stay for the whole event which will finish at 10pm or longer if wanted. Suggested donation of £2 per person appreciated. LEADER: Tony Rouse, Bug Roadshow, for White Cliffs Countryside Partnership (01304 225649). MEET: Site Management Office, Samphire Hoe (pay and display car park). The Hoe is signposted off the A20 from Dover to Folkestone, CT17 9FL. DISTANCE: 1 mile (2/3 hours). GRADE: 2. No dogs.
